How to pin my colleagues 📌
- Click on the
+
button on your Akiflow sidebar. - Type the name of your colleagues.
- Click on the pin icon.
Ta-da✨! Their avatar will stick to your sidebar!
→ If you need to un-pin someone, click on the +
button and on that person's pin.
You select multiple colleagues to check their calendars at the same time.
This button will always be visible at the bottom of your calendar.

👽 Who can I pin?
You can pin any person that shared their calendar with you.
Usually, you have automatic access to your colleagues' calendars, so the calendars of people on your Google/Outlook Suite (same email domain).
You can also have access to someone's calendar who manually shared it with you, your partner, for example.
👀 Can they see my calendar?
Having someone's calendar pinned to your sidebar does not give them access to any information that wasn’t already available to them.
This feature is based on your actual Google/Outlook Calendar sharing configuration, so people can see only what you decided to share of that specific calendar with them.
If you’d like to opt out, you can change the calendar (or specific events) visibility settings from your Google/Outlook Calendar settings page or Akiflow.
🔔 Do people get a notification if I pin them?
No one is notified of the fact that you pinned them.

🔒 Lock your tasks and slots
To ensure everyone can see what you’re working on as well, check that Lock Tasks and Time Slots are enabled on your settings pages.
🌍 Check your colleagues’ timezones
Hover on a free slot on the calendar to see your colleagues’ time zones.
💬 Ask for calendar access
If you don’t have access to a colleague's calendar, you can send them a request via Google Calendar. Check this Google guide.
